NYC Drummer Meet-up Recap

Thank you to NYC drummer Jeremy Yaddaw for helping organize our drummer meet-up last night (6/12/2001) in Manhattan. We had a great turnout to the event and everyone made some new friends. Find photos, tag yourself and join the community at our Facebook page.

If you read Dave’s recent series on becoming a Broadway musician then you know how important building community and meeting other music directors was for him.

It’s been a little over a year since the last music director meet-up in New York, so it’s that time again. Thanks to Tom Cuffari for organizing the event and Geraldine Boyer-Cussac for helping spread the word.

MusicianWages.com is helping organize a meet-up for all music directors in the NYC theatre industry. The event will be held at a bar/restaurant in Times Square, the Trattoria Dopo Teatro (44th & Broadway), on February 8th at 8:00pm. The event will be in the cabaret room downstairs.

All theatre music directors in the NYC area are encouraged to attend. It is a rare opportunity to network with colleagues in the NYC scene.
