<p>To cruise ship musicians who have done European itineraries: I have a contract this summer on a ship going to quite a few places in Europe including the Med, Baltic, and Scandinavia (mostly Finland and Norway), and as an avid fan of classical and Romantic symphonic music I was hoping to see something along the lines of famous composers’ houses/composing huts/concert halls/opera houses/stomping grounds etc.; I realize that Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague are inland, but I am still going to be in places like Helsinki (Sibelius), St. Petersburg (Tchaikovsky, among others), and Paris where I am sure I can see something of the sort-does anyone with a similar interest, and who has done European itineraries, have some suggestions of sites I could visit? Thanks much.
