Hi! I was wondering if I'd run into any copyright issues while recording a digital portfolio on DVD for our business. I'm looking to play violin along w/an abridged version of Canon Rocks by Jerry C. The original Canon in D is a classical song by Pachelbel. We want to run that audio behind my husband's photography on a DVD that we would use for promotional purposes only, we would not be selling the DVDs.
Any info is appreciated.

Copyrights on cover song used for DVD

If the song you're playing is just Canon in D, then you wouldn't need to worry about any copyright problems. The copyright on Canon in D has long, long since run out.
The arrangement you're playing too, though, could be a consideration. I'm not sure what the law says about this kind of thing.
