How to write a good bio?

Hey all,

Wondering if anybody had any tips on how to write a good, effective bio to put in a press kit and resume?
Should the bio be written at the third person or with a more personal approach (I, me...)?
What to include but most of all, what NOT to include?

Definitely write in the 3rd person, as strange as that feels.

My best advice is to be brief. If it's not super duper interesting you'll lose the reader after the first sentence.

I have my bio on front page of my website if you want an example of what I use.
