My wife and I are both dancers and musicians. We are entertaining the idea of putting together a modern Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers style duo. With singing, piano, guitar, and lots of dancing. My questions are, would Cruise Ships be interested in hiring this kind of performance? What type music do cruise ships perfer (i.e. Swing Standards, Oldies, Top 40). Would it be best to contact the cruise lines directly or talent agencies? What agencies/cruise lines do you recommend?
|

Hi Jake – Sounds like you’d be a good duo. I get questions about duo gigs a lot, but I’m not totally sure how those cats get their jobs. You could try Proship, Landau or Oceanbound – maybe they’d represent you. |
