I am currently a piano player in the showband for Carnival cruise lines, and I'm planning on switching to piano bar.

My question is, what/how much should my video promo and song list contain?

I have been filling in occasionally for the current piano bar musician on this ship (and on a previous ship), so I am able to video myself in action. The guy here said that a video of 4 songs and a song list of 40 songs would be sufficient, because they are only samples, and those who are hiring aren't going to look at more than that anyway. He also said video of typical piano bar songs where the audience is singing along would be good for the demo. Does this sound accurate to you?
If it matters, I'm planning on doing this directly to Carnival, but who knows what I'll be applying for in the future, so any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you!
