Hello, I have been a traveling musician this past year on a cruise ship and on tour with a band and am in the middle of doing taxes, but am unsure if I need to pay state/city taxes. I have been on tour and on the ship for most of the year (almost 11 months), and when I am not traveling, I just live at my parents' house since I gave up my apartment when I started getting the touring gigs. So now I am hoping that I won't have to pay much if any state taxes, since I have barely lived in the state during the year-but can anyone confirm this who knows how it works? Thanks.
