Qualifications:
*Must be able to play piano/keyboard.
*Must be able to sight read at competent level.
*Must understand orchestration.

No formal musical theater experience required.

Piano Bar Entertainer Wanted!!

I am in search of a good Piano Bar Entertainer for one of my clients in the Cruise Ship Industry. The Piano Bar Entertainer must have a large repertoire to cater to audiences from 25 years of age all the way to 60 years of age. A good mix in repertoire of music such as artists like Billy Joel, Elton John, The Eagles, Beatles, Jimmy Buffet and James Taylor just to name a few. Additionally some contemporary Country and pop/rock such as queen, U2, AC/DC and so forth, sing-a-long favorites and one hit wonders from the 50′s till today.

This is a 4 to 5 month contract. The pay is 3050 Australian Dollars per month. Flight fare, food and accommodations are all payed for by the cruise line; therefore a great opportunity to save lots of money.

I will need to see several videos of the Piano Bar Entertainer singing and playing.

Need a Musical Director for a High School production of THE BOYFRIEND by Sandy Wilson. Auditions are in mid-February and the show runs the last weekend of April. Music Director and Set Designer needed for January 2013 production of the musical “The Secret Garden.” Auditions September 2012. Performances Jan.11-13 and 18-20, 2013.

Music rehearsals to begin October 2012, with full rehearsals to begin in November; no rehearsals during holiday periods.

We are in search of a Music Director/Accompanist for our production of “THE WIZ”. It is being rehearsed and performed at Boston College High School. It is a stipend position and needs to be filled right away as the auditions are on the 8th and 9th of FEB.

The right person will have:
-A flexible schedule- able to work at least 2 days a week with weekend availability.
-Experience working with high school age students
-Abilty to accompany rehearsals and possibly be the pianist for the production.
-Ability and willingness to find the pit musicians and prepare the band for production.
-Able to attend auditions Feb 8th and 9th from 3:30-6:30 and assist in the casting process

Show dates are: May 3rd @ 7:30pm
May 5th @ 7:30pm
May 6th @ 3:00pm
May 11th @ 7:30pm
May 12th @ 7:30pm
May 13th @ 3:00pm

Rehearsals as of now for Music Director are scheduled: Mondays 3:30-6:30, (either) weds or Thursday from 3:30-6:30 and Saturdays from 1-4.

Roberta Jones Junior Theatre is seeking an experienced Musical/Vocal Director/Accompanist for our Summer 2012 Youth Theatre Camp– Creative Arts Theatrical Showcase (CATS). This is a six-week musical theatre camp for ages 8-15 that culminates in a full production of a musical. Our musical this year is a delightful adaptation of “Gulliver’s Travels.” The camp meets Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:30 pm (staff works 9:30am-3:00pm), June 18-July 27.

Performances are July 24, 25 and 26 at 7:00 pm (staff arrives at 5:00 pm). All camp classes/rehearsals and performances will be at the Mission City Center for Performing Arts at Wilcox High School, 3250 Monroe St in Santa Clara.

Pay is based on experience. We are looking for someone with experience teaching vocal technique to children ages 8-15, who can accompany the cast on the piano and lead a small combo (bass and drums).
